We are proud to announce the kick off an ongoing First Fridays for First Responders initiative at ECC, where we are offering free EAL wellness visits for uniformed first responders to spend a bit of time with our rescue horses and a facilitator at our peaceful private farm!
Our rescue horses serve as ambassadors not only for equine welfare, but also for mental health awareness and as symbols for how anyone can work through challenges when their needs are met. We know those who protect and serve experience many things that stay with them even after they hang up their hat for the day. We hope through spending time with and learning from our herd, ECC can provide a type of well-deserved sanctuary for our first responders as well.
Attendees will register for a 30 minute block of time where they will have a one-on-one experience with an EAL Facilitator and one or more of our rescue horses. Activities will vary but may include grooming/brushing, leading for a walk, and/or obstacle challenges, and of course great conversation! We are excited to learn more about you!
We follow id.me eligibility criteria for active First Responders, click here to learn more.
